This week, CEC announced Alexander T. Graham, a leading association executive, thought leader and long-time member of the disability community, will become executive director of the Council for Exceptional Children, effective Oct. 21, 2013.
Graham comes to CEC from his position as executive director and chief executive officer of the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (AG Bell), where he has been since 2007. At AG Bell, Graham leads the organization and its certifying academy with more than 4,000 members, including families with children living with hearing loss, adults with hearing loss, and the professionals that serve them.
