Tomorrow, October 11, 2012, Vice President Joe Biden will
face off with Republican Vice Presidential Candidate Congressman Paul Ryan in
the election season’s only vice presidential debate. This debate will cover
both foreign and domestic policy issues and will be divided into 9 segments,
each lasting approximately 10 minutes. The format of the debate will be similar
to last week’s presidential debate in which the moderator asked a question, gave each candidate 2
minutes to respond formally and then moderated the discussion for the remainder
of the segment. Click here

The Vice Presidential debate will be hosted at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky and will be moderated by ABC News Chief Correspondent Martha Raddatz. The debate will be aired live on C-SPAN, ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC, as well as all cable news channels including CNN, Fox News and MSNBC.
Education is a key policy issue that the vice presidential candidates will likely address. As you can tell from the DNC and RNC platforms, the parties have very different views on the future of education.. For more information on party platforms, see CEC’s I Educate, I Participate: 2012 Presidential Election Voter Education Guide.
Tune in tomorrow to get an important perspective on domestic policy issues – such as education -- from our vice presidential candidates!
