Tomorrow, the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS) and the Implementation and Support Unit (ISU), in partnership with the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) will be hosting a meeting entitled Lessons Learned on Improving Assessment Accessibility for Students with Disabilities in Washington D.C. This is meeting is open to the public and brings together former grantees from the General Supervision Enhancement grant program who will discuss methods to improve assessment accessibility for students with disabilities.
The purpose of the meeting is to inform work in this field by four consortia of states currently building next-generation assessment systems with Race to the Top Grants.
