Applications for the White House Internship’s Fall 2012 term are now open. Interns in the White House Internship program have the opportunity to work with government officials in offices throughout the White House, such as the Office of the Chief of Staff, the Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs, the National Economic Council and the Domestic Policy Council. In addition to their roles in the office – attending meetings, writing memos, conducting research – interns also have the opportunity to participate in a speaker series with senior staff members, engage in service projects and plan and staff events.
The application is due on April 1, 2012. The application includes short answers and two essays, as well as a one-page resume and two letters of recommendation. For more information about the program, please click here.
