On March 6, the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Special Education Research announced 28 new grants were awarded – many to CEC members – focusing on early intervention; reading, writing and language development; math and science; social and behavioral outcomes; transition; autism; technology; and post doctoral research training, representing a $48 million investment into special education research.
