At the CEC Annual Convention & Expo last week, CEC members took time to reflect on the evolution of special education in recognition of IDEA’s 35th Anniversary.
Every convention attendee was asked to share how IDEA has impacted children/youth and professionals.
CEC members from across the country provided personal stories ranging from those who remember the enactment of IDEA in 1975 to those who have never known a world without IDEA.
